Welcome to I Walked Across America. Here, we hope to catalog the “official” list of the men and women who have walked all the way across America, and to share their stories.
Walking across the continent is an inherently dangerous and joyful process. Those of us who have completed the Long Walk find ourselves in a small and inspirational crew of dreamers, adventurers, crazies, philosophers, and wanderers. Hopefully, this site will help us each to inspire prospective Walkers, and to assist the transition back to real life for those who have completed the Long Walk.
